That time has come. Each of my three children have evolved into the wonderful starter humans with thoughts, ideas, opinions and personalities. Today was family shred day and while we don’t have the biggest, best or even most fun hills this was an amazing day. Here’s a little vide of my youngest making turns. And, if you’ve ever wondered what I’ve been up to since going off the radar well … being a dad is pretty awesome (and time consuming)
I can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said.
The situation sucks for reps, warehouse crews, marketing folks, and riders. Lots of people bummed.
Enjoy a little or lot of That
Whoever did the tombstone pic — good on ya thanks
Thank god I heave Deadhead friends who post this stuff on Facebook.
Do you find a crossover between the Grateful Dead lifestyle and the boarding lifestyle?
For sure! Like I said earlier, all kinds of people meet because of their love for a certain thing. I have met a lot of cool people I wouldn’t have met just because I love snowboarding, and they do too. There are some weird folks who love snowboarding. Just like there are some strange people who love the Dead. People would travel all over the country and world to see the Dead just as people travel all over the country and world for good snow and to shred deep pow. I suppose you could compare some folk’s love for Jerry, like some folks love for deep powder.
Disclosure: In full honestly, I do love the album American Beauty.
Christian Hosoi drops a brilliant story about shroomin’, paper airplanes and a phone book. These are best ever.
Yes, I still love Vans Eras and wear them to work, business trips, kids soccer games. again, for the people in the cheap seats, simple is beautiful. A little about Tony, nice guy when he realizes you’re not some Dogtown & Z-Boy autograph gomer off the street. This story is great because I don't think I've ever seen him laugh.
